Luke Jacobs is an award winning cinematographer based in London.
Luke cut his teeth in documentaries before moving into music videos where his work began picking up awards for videos like Rudimental's smash hit 'Not Giving In' which won 5 awards including a Cannes (YDA) and UK Music Video Award as well as being featured at the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase. Other work has gone onto win Q Award’s, Creative Review ‘Best In Moving Image’ and been shortlisted for Best Cinematography at the UK Music Video Awards, Rain Dance and Berlin.
Moving into commercials and drama, Luke has shot ads for brands like Nike, Aston Martin, Mustang and worked with stars like Le Bron James, Usian Bolt and Anthony Joshua. Commericals like This Is Egypt and Bose have picked up numerous awards.
Having shot several features films, UK Film Council shorts and the TV series Hinterland, Luke is also keen to expand upon his drama reel too. His short film Robot and Scarecrow starring Jack O’Connell and Holliday Grainger went on to win a gold at Ciclope International Festival of Craft 2017. Luke is currently attached to several feature films including one in development with BFI.
